Francis Albert (Al) Renaud, 81, passed away today January 14, 2021. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Ruth after sixty years of marriage, his parents Clement W. Renaud and Thelma H. Anderson and his brother Clement. Al was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1939. He graduated from St. John's University in Brooklyn, New York in 1960. He served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1958 to 1964. He moved to Miami, Florida in 1971 and retired from the Tax Department of Exxon Mobil Corporation in Coral Gables, Florida in 1998 after more than 30 years of service. He and his wife then moved to Wesley Chapel, Florida, followed by Land O'Lakes, Florida, and finally to Tallahassee, Florida in 2017. He very much enjoyed working on his family's genealogy, was a voracious reader, and loved his family.
He is survived by his daughters Mrs. Linda (Michael) Freeland of Melbourne Beach, Florida; Ms. Christine Renaud of Tallahassee, Florida; Mrs. Michele (William) Mobley of Orlando, Florida; and Mrs. Kelley (Todd) Huelle of Land O' Lakes, Florida. He is survived by his grandchildren Alexandra, Nicholas, Brandon, Sean, Zachary, Kyla, Jaden, Shane, Nicholas, and great-grandsons Jacob and Mason. Other survivors include his siblings Mrs. Barbara Doyle of Mountain Dale, New York; Mrs. Roberta O'Neill of Medford, New York; Mr. Stephen (Ellen) Renaud of Andover, New Jersey; and many nephews and nieces and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Al's name may be made to the Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.
