Frank was born on April 10, 1953 in Wilmington, NC to Frank Washington Millar III and Thelma Singletary Millar.
He spent his first 5 years living in Wrightsville Beach, NC until his father was transferred to Jacksonville, FL with the Atlantic Coastline Railroad. He attended elementary, junior high and high school in Jacksonville.
Frank graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1971. He attended Wake Forest University and then transferred to Jacksonville University where he graduated in April 1978.
He married Paula Elkins Millar at Arlington United Methodist Church in Jacksonville, FL on July 19, 1975.
After graduating college, he entered the Management Program at JC Penney where he worked for 24½ years. He then chose a new career path and became a Business Developer for IT companies. He was currently working for Bowhead, a UIC Alaska Native Corporation. He thoroughly enjoyed his job and the people he got to work with.
Frank is survived by his wife, Paula Elkins Millar, his children Sean Millar (Jennie), Andrew Millar (Simona) and his favorite daughter Sarah Millar (Michael), his grandchildren Alexa, Aria, Martin and Anna.
His memorial service will be held on June 24, 2022 at Thorington Road Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Trull presiding. Visitation with the family will be held from 1:30 p.m. to
2:00 p.m. He will also have a graveside service in Tallahassee, FL with the date and time to be announced.
Frank was an intelligent, dedicated, hard working man of God. He was also the most amazing Dad a kid could ask for.
