

The son of the late Franklin Lamar and Ruby Louise Moon-Andrews, he was of the Christian Faith.
Fred had many passions, most importantly his family. Other passions included music, sports, card playing, fishing, traveling, old cars, casinos and the beach.
Fred was a graduate of Leon High School Class of 1958 and is a member of the Leon High School Football Hall of Fame. He also loved meeting up with his old Leon High classmates every Thursday for "Fat Boys" lunches.
Music has always been a big part of Fred's life. He was a member of several of Tallahassee's first Rock-n-Roll bands in the 1950's. He sang and played guitar for the "Flambeaus", the "Casuals" and the "Chaotics" for many decades.
Fred worked for UPS as a driver, supervisor and regional manager all over the State of Florida.In 1974 Fred opened Used Car Supermarket on West Tennessee Street, which he ran for nearly a half century.
Fred was predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Bonnie L. Andrews, his siblings, Marvin Andrews, Frank L. Andrews Jr., Betty Gail Andrews Burch and David Claude Andrews. Fred is survived by his sister, Joan Andrews Consalvi, his children, Fred Wayne Andrews Jr. (Susan), Ross Leonard (Caroline), April Schoen (Scott) and Robert J. Andrews (Samantha), Grandchildren, Fred Wayne Andrews, III (Jenny), Amber Andrews Hargarten (Fran), Sonny Hicks, Chase Andrews, Easton Andrews, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Fred and Bonnie Andrews will take place at Bradley's Pond on July 24, 2026 from 6-10 PM.
