Fred was born in Mobile, AL on October 11, 1942. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam conflict. He worked at Olin Corp in the drafting department until his retirement. While he worked, he received a degree in drafting from Lively Vo Tech.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Bonnie; daughter, Noel Godwin; son, Chris (Sara) Armour; grandchildren, Taylor White, Sydney Godwin, and AJ Godwin; sister, Frances (Tony) Messina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luke T. Armour, Sr. and Helen Imsand Armour; two sisters, Florence O’Rouke and Edith Yeager; and brother, Luke T. Armour, Jr.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 14 from 6-8 pm at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home on Riggins Road. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 15 at 11 am, also at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
