Mr. Fred L. Watson, Sr., 81 of Tallahassee died Monday, Sept. 1, 2014. Fred was born on Dec. 17, 1932 in Lakeland, FL and lived in Tallahassee for many years. He owned and operated Watson’s Upholstery and served in the US Army. Fred was also a member of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church.
Survivors include son, Fred (Elaine) Watson, Jr. of Tallahassee; daughter, Deborah Jean ( Eddie) Oxley of Warner Robbins, Ga.; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 4th from 10-11 AM at Culley’s Meadowwood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Rd. Funeral Services will follow at 11 AM with a reception immediately afterwards. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Holy Comforter Episcopal Church.
