She was born March 18, 1927 in Vincennes, Indiana. She grew up in Indiana on a large melon farm and lived in the the Midwest most of her life. She moved to St. George Island , FL in 2013 to be near family.
Frieda enjoyed gardening, researching natural remedies, and visiting with friends and family. She remodeled and built several houses with her husband. She always had a large garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Forrest L. Johnson.
Frieda is survived by a sister Esther Otten of Indiana, brother Chris Ellerman of Indiana; a son Warren Johnson (Ginny); daughters Susan Connelly (Jim), and Janice Radel; and granddaughters Cassie Johnson, Erin Connelly, and Colleen Grunhaus (Daniel).
Per Frieda’s wishes, there will be no service.
