Geoff has one sibling, his brother, Charles, who lives in Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles “Whit” and Guinevere “Guin” Pennington of Tallahassee. He was also predeceased by his son, Cameron (21 yrs old), in 2010. Geoff’s son, Garrett and his wife, Nicole, had a baby girl, Carolyn, on Friday, June 6th, sadly the same day Geoff passed away. He was so looking forward to her arrival and she would have immediately fallen in love with him.
Back in the day Geoff loved boating and fishing. He was a helluva partier and a joy to be around!!! Geoff will be missed by all.
There will be a gathering of family and friends at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2221 Old Bainbridge Road, on Saturday, July 12th at 2:00 pm.
