

She was born and lived her life as a Houstonian and was very proud to be a 7th generation Texan.
She attended San Jacinto High School and the School of Hard Knocks from which she graduated with Honors, her quote. She married her High School Sweetheart, Jerry Stanley Fagan. Georgann gave birth to their only child, Cindy, at Parkview Hospital in Houston, Texas, which was owned by her grandfather, Dr. John Thomas Oliver, and her father, Dr. John Stanley Oliver, who delivered Cindy in Room 222.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Stanley Oliver M.D. & Georgia Oliver, and her brothers, Thomas Michael Oliver & Richard Stanley Oliver.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Ann Pooser, and husband, Larry; her grandson, Donald Thomas (Rocky) Roberts, and wife Shirley, and their 4 children and 3 grandchildren; granddaughter, Krysti Miles, and her husband, Kevin, and their 5 children; grandson, Christopher Chase Walker; granddaughter, Braylee Webb, and her husband, Matt, and their 2 children, Tristin Lane Pooser & Laramie Renee Pooser; Lance Rivenbark and his children, Kenlee, Layton & Hadley.
She survived all her Exes in Texas.
Georgann will be laid to rest next to her much-adored granddaughter, Haylee Jewel Rivenbark, who passed away in March of this year. They had cute nicknames for each other: "Gram" for Georgann and "Cracker" for Haylee.
She enjoyed living in The Woodlands, Texas, activities with her church, swimming at the YMCA, digging in her beautiful garden growing plants & flowers, her Turtle Swamp, reading many books, movies, photography, jigsaw puzzles, cartoons, traveling, swimming with the Whales and Dolphins, reading the Newspaper with her coffee every morning, and her time spent over the years at the Lone Star College in the Academy for Lifelong Learning Program, at which she taught a class in Organizational Skills and traveled on many field trips for Texas History.
She worked almost her entire life as an executive assistant for various presidents of corporations and as a private investigator. Finally, she was owner of a concierge service called "Let George Do it" in which she made many lasting relationships and had great memories.
Her grandchildren and great grandchildren will tell you she wrote and mailed many interesting and fantastic letters including articles that she thought you needed to read! She loved and was very proud of all of you!
Georgann had a passion for her many furry feline pets who were her compassion and companions during her lifetime, she left behind her kitty, Birdie Sue, 9 years old, who now resides with Larry & Cindy in Florida.
She loved all her family and friends, especially her sister, Kristine Glines; niece, Tina Kilmurry; and her cousin, Angela Mahmarian, who were very loving and supportive.
She had a very strong bond with all her friends of "The Wine Wednesday Group" for over 20 years, they had many exciting adventures and margaritas! Long-time loving friends, Becky Drake and Carolyn Fuston, were always there for her. Long-time next-door neighbors, "Her Other Family", Devin & Shannon Jacobs, who, while raising their 2 children, so graciously fed and cared for Georgann during her chemo and radiation treatments and heroically killed all the wasps on her back porch, as well as heavy lifting!!
Thank you to all of you who helped, supported and loved her as she went through the aging process. She loved her life, men and all of you!!

A Celebration of Life will be held at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, located at 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida, 32312. The service is scheduled for December 20, 2025, starting at 2:00 pm.
Following the service, a burial will take place at MeadowWood Memorial Park, also located at 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida, 32312, on December 20, 2025.
