Glenn Guertin

Glenn Alan Guertin, 81, of Havana, Florida passed away Tuesday June 2, 2026. He was born October 21, 1944 to Thomas Elrick Guertin and Reva Ann Montgomery in Mobile, Alabama and grew up in Altha, Florida. Glenn graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Finance before working for the City of Tallahassee where he retired as a contracts manager.

Glenn loved to cook, collect coins and guns and was an avid outdoorsman especially into retirement. He loved being out the open water fishing or hunting. There is a good chance if you had the chance to either go hunting or fishing with him, there was a memorable or funny story to be told. Many of these special days were spent with his son, Robert.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Guertin; children, Gary Allen Burd of Havana, Florida and Christina Burd of Havana, Florida; grandson, Nicholas Burd of Tallahassee, Florida and great-grandson, Charlie. He is also survived by a host of numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his son, Robert Alan Guertin.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 at 2:00 PM, at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, FL 32308.
