

Born Elmer Glynn Duncan, on May 25, 1934, in Grady County, Georgia. Died on May 5, 2013 in Tallahassee, Florida.
Glynn was a graduate of Whigham School and served in the U. S. Air Force. He was a retired commercial tire salesman working with Rainey Cawthon, Tallahassee Tire, and GCR Tire Center. He was a member of Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church and the Ed Wynn Sunday school class. He is the son of the late Wylie and Pearl Gainous Duncan. He loved the Lord and his family. He also enjoyed fishing, time with friends, spoiling his grandchildren, sharing a good story of life growing up on a farm and cooking creative meals on his Big Green Egg.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Laslie Duncan; his daughters, Cindy Kucheman (Dave) and Stephanie Coughlin (Brent); his grandsons, Chandler and Cameron Kucheman; his granddaughters, Missouri and Julianna Coughlin; his brother, Spencer Duncan (Lois); his sisters, Betty Shoemaker (J.D.) and Dorothy Hart; and his sisters in law, Mavis and Diane Duncan; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack, Sherwood, Burt and Archie Duncan.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation will take place at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1700 N. Meridian Road, on Wednesday May 8, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Culley’s MeadowWood Memorial Park.
