Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Edwena Jackson of Mayo, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Diane Jackson; daughters, Terri Wood (Ron) and Gina Jackson; grandchildren, Lindsay Fisher (Phillip) and Daniel Wood and great-grandchildren, Beau and Ella Fisher. He loved and was loved by his family, church family and the family at The Grove.
He also loved serving his church, gardening and as an alumni of FSU (1959), Seminole sports.
A celebration of Harold's life will be at 11 AM on June 27, 2026 at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home (700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32312), with visitation at 10AM and a light lunch reception following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Playground Fund at Thomasville Road Baptist Church, Tallahassee, Florida 32308.
