I’m so very sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Chase. I was in her theory class at Westminster and she was amazing! I learned so very much from her. Thank you for your knowledge and joy of teaching and care for all the students, Dr. Chase. May you rest in peace and be surrounded by the choir of angels! My sincere condolences to all of her family. ❤️😇🙏

Dr. Chase was a wonderful teacher and so kind. I had the privilege of studying with her at WCC from 1974-1980, receiving 2 degrees. She gave us a solid foundation to go out into the world and teach music  to the next generations!  May she Rest in Peace. 🙏

Dr.,Chase was very kind to me while I was a student at Westminster Choir College. We became great friends and when I would go to Georgia to visit my family, she would substitute for me at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Lebanon New Jersey.

I remember Dr. Chase as a kind, helpful lady. I never had her for theory at WCC, but in my sophomore year the College hired me to teach one section of freshman theory. I found her counsel and suggestions so helpful, concepts I still remember today, 50 years later. She seemed to be a very nurturing teacher.

I was a student of Dr. Chase at Westminster Choir College many years ago. Dr. Chase was a very sweet and caring professor. She even attended my senior voice recital. I was very grateful for her genuine kindness to her students. She will be missed. We will be reading her name at our Westminster Alumni Memorial Service on Friday, May 16 at All Saints Church in Princeton. She will be remembered by the alumni.

Dear Paul and the two nieces, whom I met in the hospice center. I'm so sorry that I will not be able to attend the service for Harriet, but I will be in New York all next week. She was very dear to me and I will always cherish the memory of our friendship. Margaret Van Every

I grieve with the Chase family on their loss of Harriet. 
    Harriet was an acquaintance through her brother Tom and his wife Norene who were fellow members of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tallahassee. 
    My acquaintance with Harriet deepened when she moved to Westminster Oaks.
     I was fortunate to hear a memorable duo violin and piano chamber music performance with a guest pianist on Harriet's piano in Harriet's home. 
      On later occasions, Harriet was chauffeured by myself and a friend to Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra performances.  The memory of Harriet will be a presence in my car and life for some time to come.
