Helen Reinecke

Helen Reinecke (Kotora), 82, of Tallahassee, FL passed away at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare on March 11, 2015. Helen was born October 11, 1932 in Jersey City, New Jersey the daughter of John and Anna Kotora. She was united in marriage to Francis (Frank) C. Reinecke on January 15, 1955. He preceded her in death March 25, 2004. They were married for 49 years.

She came to Tallahassee in 1999 after living in Port St. Lucie, FL for more than 40 years. Helen was an excellent homemaker who loved to cook and clean. She enjoyed preparing meals from scratch for her family and friends. Everyone always loved what she prepared. Feeding people was what made her happy. She was also very organized. She kept an extensive journal of her daily activities. She loved to spend time with her greatest love, her grandson.

Survivors include her only child, her daughter: Michelle (David) Logsdon of Tallahassee and her grandson: Jordan A. Logsdon.

Following cremation, a gathering of friends and family will take place Saturday (4/4) at 1:00 PM while the urn is placed in the niche at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Westminster Gardens Apartments, Attention: Administrator, 301 E. Carolina Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32301.
