Henry W. Hopkins

He was a WWII War Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army as Military Policeman and was a veteran of the Allusion Island Campaign in Alaska. He was Honorably Discharged as a Sergeant. He was also a retired Road Engineer for State of Colorado. Hoppy moved to Tallahassee in 1986. His memberships include Paul Revere Lodge # 162 A.F.&A.M. Denver CO., Past Commander, South Denver Post # 2461, Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S.

He was preceded in death by wife Georgia Irene Butler-Hopkins.

Survivors include, daughter, Rashell Lynn Hopkins-Mitchell of Tallahassee, son-in-law, CDR Paul F. Mitchell USN Ret; four grandchildren, Dane, Mandy, Pete, and Ben, and three great grandchildren, Alexandra, Samantha, and Saxton.

Visitation will be held, 6-8 PM, Tuesday,June 14 at Culley's Meadow Wood Funeral Home , Timberlane Chapel. Funeral service will be held, 10AM Wednesday, at Culley's Meadow Wood. Memorial contributions may be made to "Big Bend Hospice".
