Henry Lewis Roberts, 65 of Tallahassee, died Wednesday October 8, 2013 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Henry was born July 27, 1948 in Hawk Run, PA to Henry and Violet (Conti) Roberts and moved to Tallahassee in 1999. Henry is a Vietnam War Army veteran and was the recipient of four Bronze Stars. He was employed with Flagler Construction Company for over 21 years and retired in 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Roberts. Henry was united in marriage on September 9, 1969 in Winchester, VA to his wife, Shirley who resides in Tallahassee. Henry is also survived by his step-son, Michael Turner of St. Cloud, FL; sister, Ida Mae Little of Winburn, PA; his granddaughter, Stephanie Turner of Orlando, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will take place Saturday at 2pm at the Culley’s Meadowwood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
