TO ALL OF THE THOMPSONS -

WHAT A WONDERFUL LIFE WE ALL HAD GROWING UP IN TALLAHASSEE. WE WERE VERY LUCKY CHILDREN.

MR JAMES WAS SUCH A LARGE PART OF OUR LIVES AS WERE ALL OF YOU. HE AND DADDY ARE PROBABLY PLAYING GOLF TOGETHER IN HEAVEN RIGHT NOW.

WE THINK OF ALL OF YOU SO OFTEN. WE ARE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, BUT WE KNOW THAT HE, MAMA & DADDY ARE ALL IN A BETTER PLACE. HOWEVER, WE SURE DO MISS THEM DOWN HERE.

LOVE TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!

Dearest Thompson family, I was so saddened to learn of The passing of Mr. Thompson. I have such wonderful childhood memories of him and his generation of gentlemen, including my beloved father. Mr. Thompson and those men were giants in my childhood eyes.

Miss Joanne, you all are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you all.

Love, Byars Cole

Mrs. JoAnne, I am so sorry to hear about Mr. James. I would bring mama down tomorrow but she is really sick herself. She feels terrible not being able to get there. She and Daddy always loved you and James. Please let us know if we can do anything for you, and know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Bebe Thedford and Frances Summitt
