He was born November 7, 1952 in Pensacola, Florida. He moved to Tallahassee before his first birthday and spent most of his life here.
He was a jack of many trades. He worked construction, was a tile setter, a pump mechanic, carpet cleaner, pest control technician and lastly a maintenance technician at an assisted living facility,
Family was always his first priority, his daughter Theresa was the light of his life.
He is survived by his daughter Theresa Hawthorne, his wife of 31 years Karen Hawthorne, his brother James Michael Hawthorne, Sisters Deborah Bedore (husband Micheal) and Rebecca McDonald (husband Bruce), 9 Nieces and Nephews, 5 grand nieces and nephews and was very much a part of and loved by his in-laws the Kiley's and Cash families too.
His Mother Alene Hawthorne preceded him in death, as well as his Brother Robert and sisters Sandra and Mary.
