The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Culley’s Meadowwood Funeral Home on Riggins Road between 4:00 and 6:00 pm. A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will begin at 5:15.
As a young girl Jerry was the apple of her father’s eye. She was an avid swimmer with a deep love for animals. Jerry grew to become a strong, beautiful and independent woman. She graduated from Florida State University with a Master’s Degree in Law. Her love of law and the criminal justice system was ever present as she practiced law for forty one years. It was on Groundhog’s Day, February 2, 1990, that Jerry married the love of her life Jim Trunzo. On that day she became wife, mother and grandmother all while never changing a single diaper. She had exceptional skills in shopping that were matched by no other and took great pride in passing those skills down to each of her four grandchildren, Chase, Tina, Maria and Michael. She was a bright, strong, colorful spirit that will forever shine in the hearts of her family.
