Jody worked for Mastec of Live Oak, Florida as a Line Apprentice. He loved hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his son, Dalton Shane Seay of Tallahassee; parents Floyd Seay, Jr. of Tallahassee and Pamela Ann Clemons Cooper of Quincy; brother Lonnie Seay and his wife, Llana, of Tallahassee; nieces and nephew, Chandler, Taylor, Riley, Spencer and Jamison Seay; paternal grandparents Floyd and Johnnie Seay of Tallahassee; aunts and uncles Judy and Ron Moat and their children, Ashley and Randy, and Brenda and Bobby Clemons and their children, Stephanie and Katie, all of Tallahassee.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Ann Clemons.
