Martha, I am so sorry to hear about your son.  I don't know if you remember I lost my son in 1986 and I know it seems that you are overcome now, but if you have faith in God he will always stand by you and believe me it does get easier with time. Dear Martha- at this moment you are down on the gulf, watching the sunset. I wish I could be there with you. My memories of John are decades old when he was a spirited adolescent. My three sons never forgot the summer days they spent with him at the beach in Coronado. He was fun and full of mischief- and so proud of his new, red boogie board! He was always kind to his younger cousins and they join me in sharing your grief and deep sense of loss. I hope you find comfort in happy memories of your son, and in the support of your family and friends.  And to John: I will never forget you cousin- love always, Alex.

John was nice young man. He spent many a day at my house growing up he was a friend of my son sean Lopez.our thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family.

Dear Martha and B.B., Suzanne, Al, and all the other family and friends, my heart has been heavy as I think of all the family's losses. But today I took a few moments at sunset to reflect on John's life and to be with you in spirit, and I was reminded that as our day was ending, a new day was beginning in another place.  God's ways and plans never change and though it looks very dark sometimes, He never forgets to change the darkness to light. Today John walked on ahead of us into that light. Martha I am so sorry for your loss.  Words are never sufficient but know you are in my thoughts.  May God be near during this time.

I knew John for my whole life, he was there when I was born. And there when I was growing up. He was a great friend to my parents, he was pretty much family actually. I was so upset when I heard about this...but he's in good hands now. He's looking down on us all smiling...he was taken too soon but at least we all know he is in no pain, but at peace. God bless you and your family

He meant so much to the people that knew him and loved him. My heart goes out to you and william and his two children. Johns heart and soul was one of a kind and will live on through his family and friends. John opened my eyes to so many of the simple things in life, things that money can't buy. He is at peace, and there is no more pain. His love and memories will forever live on. I will always love him and you martha.

Martha, I have only known you a short time, but I feel like we have been friends forever. I am so sorry about John, I know you have had tremendous grief in your life. May God give you the comfort that he has given both of us in the last few years. Thank you for being there for me during my loss, you were a wonderful comfort. Remember I am as close as a phone call.
