I was thinking of John today.  I'm sorry that my son, John, did not call him.  I think he felt uncomfortable and did not know what to say.  They were devilish compatriots at Leon and at church!  I will always remember his handsome face and politeness.  He was a great young man.  I know how much you miss him and hope you can get through the "hump" of his recent death.

The 2nd time I met John I knew he was "one of a kind" or as I have always said "he was on the endangered species list."  John was not only a tremendous father, friend, son and brother but a fabulous, loving, caring, devoted soulmate to my niece Paula.  Their unconditional love for each other was truley a gift from God.  John's courage, strength, devotion and dedication to all those and the things he loved was one of the many blessings and pleasures we all shared during the time we had with him.  I am so very honored to have had John as a friend and family member and we will forever cherish the love and memories that he so graciously blessed us with.  We thank you Mr.and Mrs. Teuton, Jana and most of all Adam and Trey for sharing John with us and allowing us to spend valuable time and to love John as we do. Your generosity is forever etched in our hearts, souls and minds. John and his memory will be with us forever. I pray that you all find comfort and peace during this very difficult time and our dear precious John will R.I.P until we meet agian.  Forever True to John we are and will be.

We were saddened to hear of John's death.  It seems like just yesterday when we knew him as the nice cute kid across the street.  Reading about him now we know he grew up to be a good man.  We were neighbors for many years before we moved from Tallahassee in 2002.

I am deeply saddened and shocked to hear of John's passing.  I went through the probation officer academy with John in 1996.  We had a lot of great times toghether during that time.  He was a great guy.

I am so glad to see the pictures from John's life, they reflect who he was and the type of father he was.  My ex-husband & I enjoyed fishing with him on Lake Talquin.  John will be so missed.  As the only 2 Gator fans in Classification at Wakulla, we had to stick together against all the Nole fans. I didn't know Jana was John's sister and I work with her at Central Office. I was so sorry to hear of John's passing. We were in the same graduating class at Leon High School. He was always so kind and considerate of others.  No one had a smile quite like him.  He would light up the room.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this very difficult time.  The LORD will take good care of him in Heaven.

I have such good memories of John from the youth choir at Saint Paul's UMC. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing.  My prayers are with his family.

We have known Mack and Jane since John and Jana were little kids a few years younger than our kids.  We are so sorry to see John pass on at a young age.  He was a wonderful son and we will keep praying for the family at this time.

I met John in 1996 when we both worked at Calhoun C.I.  We dated a couple of times and I found him to be a genuinely nice guy that always spoke very fondly of his family.  He had such a big smile and love of life.  The world has lost an awesome person.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. John was an amazing person, someone to look up to and emulate. His battle with cancer was a courageous one. The loss of such a wonderful person will never make sense. God Bless.

John was the finest person I have had the privilege to know. John's unwavering courage and love for life and his family were inspiring and a true testament to the kind of man he was. John will be missed each and every day. He will live on in our hearts and memories, never to be forgotten.  Thank you for touching my life, John. May God watch over your family in this time of great sorrow and shelter them with love and strength and bring solace to their hearts.

John was a great friend and co-worker. You always had a smile on your face no matter what was going on in your life. I will miss that smile, seeing you at work and our gatherings after work.

John came to Calhoun C.I. in 1995 as a Classification Officer, I was the Majors Secretary at the Work Camp. He was sent to the Work Camp to learn the ropes. I can remember him sitting at the table in the record vault and me telling him he didn't look like he was dry behind the ears yet let alone old enough to be working. Years past I joined the Classification department and once again our paths crossed as he became my Supervisor at Gadsden Correctional Facility. It is my prayer that our paths will cross one more time when we both stand in the mighty presence of our Lord and Savior until then my friend. As a former classmate of John's all the way back to elementary school, I remember him having the kindest spirit and being so nice to everyone.  I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.  Lifting his family up in prayer for comfort and strength during this difficult time.

I have known John for about 25 years. John and I were on the Leon High Varsity Wrestling Team. Every year we were always one weight class apart. John, Jason English, and I were always together getting into some kind of mischief.  And we all remained friends to this day. I haven't really processed John's passing. I was so sure that he would beat this cancer. John was so strong these last years. He had wonderful support from his family. His fiancee Paula was a strong support. John was a great father. His two boys, Adam and Trey are so wonderful. I know their daddy will always be guiding them from Heaven. John Teuton I will miss all the days of my life, but I know my friend, your in better place with our Father in Heaven.

John was a great friend and fought a courageous battle.  When I saw him last Thursday he was talking about getting his feet back under him and getting back to work.  He will be missed and never forgotten.  As John would say "Right on brother!"

I've known John for 11 years and was like a brother.  He is a true professional, kind, loyal and a wonderful friend.  He showed me the ropes when I first started out with the department and those lessons will stick with me forever.  I pray for the best for his boys and the rest of the family.
John, I will never forget our good times at Paradise, County Line Bar, Corner Pocket, Ale House or just goofing around with the boys watching wrestling.  You were always a preasure to have around and the life of the party.  Keep the party going up there in heaven.  Right on, brother!!!

I am so shocked and stunned to hear of John's death, and my sincere and heartfelt condolonces are with all the family, friends, and all extended family members.  I worked with John at Wakulla C.I. in the Classification Department, and he was a joy to work with and a diligent team member.  I will always remember his compassion and willingness to help others.  May God comfort you all with His Love, and let us all remember how much courage John displayed.
