

He was a member of Good Sheperd Catholic Church and as catholic, he loved to pray every day. His passion for music and singing was with him until the end of his terrene life. He also loved to play cards with his wife and their mutual friend Mireya.
Jose was preceded in death by his father Silverio Acosta and his mother Maria de Jesus Varon; his brothers: Luis and Abel, and his sister, Maria Eugenia.
Jose is survived by Amira B de Acosta, his wife of 60 years; his daughter, Yolanda and Marco, his son Eduardo and Janet, his grandchildren Marino, Miranda, Andres, Karina, and 3 Great-grandchildren Isabella, Giovanni and Aryona; his sisters: Elizabeth, Irene, and Ana Mery Acosta; his brother, Edgar Acosta; and 44 nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 30th at Good Sheperd Catholic Church (www.goodshepherdparish.org) with interment following at Culley’s MeadowWood Memorial Park.
