The son of Andrew and Doris (Couture) Quintal, he grew up in Clifton Park, New York and enlisted in the Navy in 1982. Joe lived in Florida for over 40 years where he worked as an IT Specialist, retiring from the State of Florida.
Joe was an avid bowler, a collector of all things Mickey Mouse and enjoyed taking walks with his dog, Minnie. He enjoyed going to the races in Saratoga, New York.
He is preceded in death by his father, Andrew Quintal.
Joe is survived by his mother, Doris; sisters, Sheryl (Dave) Crawford, Ann (Mike) Grimsley and Patricia Negron; brothers, Robert Quintal and Gary Quintal; several nieces and nephews; and long-time friend, Katherine Harpe.
In keeping with Joe's wishes, there will be no formal services. Inurnment will be at the Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871.
Memorial Contributions in Joe's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
