She graduated from Leon High School in 1951 and attended Florida State University where she was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority and the FSU Flying High Circus as a high rope twirler.
She lived in Port Charlotte FL for a few years and then In Fort Lauderdale FL for many years. Before returning to Tallahassee a few years ago she lived in Huntsville, AL where she was active in many groups as well as her beloved church, Church of the Nativity. She was also very proud to have earned her place in the Daughters of the King.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Paul Howard Morgan, Jr.; and recently a son, Alfred Hugh Adams, Jr.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Sue Morgan Wilmer of Pensacola, FL.; daughter, Joy Adams Wamble of Tampa, FL; son, Paul Morgan Adams of Carrabelle, FL; granddaughters, Morgan Wamble King(Charley)of Atlanta, GA and Lindsey Wamble Stearns(Andrew) of Salida, CO; Linda Adams Arosemena(Kris) of Tallahassee; daughter-in-law, Laura Cioffi Adams of Tallahassee; and grandsons, William Wamble(Crystal) of Tampa; Nick Adams(Becca) of Smyrna, GA; and Joe Adams USAF, Grand Forks, ND. Great grandchildren Mary Adams, Yates and Andrew King; Hannah and Reid Stearns; Max and Drew Arosemena, as well as several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog and companion, Penny.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date due to current restrictions.
Sincere appreciation is noted for the loving and compassionate attention from the doctors, nurses and staff at the Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee.
