Julian "Danny" Daniels, 89, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Westminster Oaks. He was born and grew up in Miami, Florida. During World War II he joined the Navy at age sixteen. After the war ended he proudly served as a Highway Patrolman in Ft. Lauderdale, retiring after nearly thirty years. During his time as a Patrolman he met and married Ann Pincus. Together they enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing, gardening, and traveling. In 2014 they moved to Westminster Oaks in Tallahassee. He was one of the veterans who flew to Washington, D.C with the inaugural Honor Flight program. Survivors include his wife, Ann and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by this son, James. A memorial service will be held on March 1st, at 4:00 at the Francis Chapel at Westminster Oaks, 4449 Meandering Way, which can be reached by taking the Perry Center elevator down. This will be followed by a Celebration of Dan's life at the pool house.
