June Ashmore

She is survived by her children: Julia Norman, Robert Ashmore (Dianne), Susan Leach (David), David Ashmore (Barbara), Jane Reinert (Richard) and Barbara Alandra Ashmore; and her sister Barbara Spooner. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dr. R. Enwood Ashmore, and mother and father Ione and Albert Gilmore.

June was a talented crafts person, artist, gardener, and homemaker. She traveled the world over, and never met a stranger. She loved dancing, singing, and especially spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She gave gifts of her beautiful workmanship to most everyone she knew. She will be dearly missed.

June's family will receive friends on Sunday, October 22nd at Culley's Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee from 5-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Havana, 116 6th Ave E., on Monday, October 23rd at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, Inc. 1723 Mahan Center Blvd, Tallahassee, FL 32308, or to a favorite charity.
