She was born in Tallahassee, Florida on October 1, 1952. Karla graduated from Leon High School and married Orvie Jones in 1998. Karla worked as a paralegal for the Office of the Attorney General, State of Florida for over 30 years.
Karla had a passion for life and was very involved in her community. She was a member of the Tallahassee Elks Lodge, the VFW Women of the Moose and the Rainbow Girls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orvie Jones; and parents, Karl and Clara Adams.
Karla is survived by her sister, Patty Close; nephew, Karl (Claire) Heckenberg; niece, Stacey (Russell) Iorio; and her grandnieces, Ava, Anna and Julia.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 4pm - 6pm at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 11am at the Tallahassee Elks Lodge, 276 Magnolia Drive.
