For more than five decades, she and Bob built a life grounded in commitment, loyalty, and deep affection. She was his partner in every sense of the word — steady, wise, and unwavering.
Kag loved being a teacher. It wasn’t just a profession; it was who she was. She believed in her students, expected the best from them, and gave her time generously. Long after they left her classroom, many carried forward the lessons she taught — not only from books, but about character, responsibility, and kindness.
Family was the center of her world. She is survived by her devoted husband Bob; her daughter Mandi (husband Dan); her son Ian (wife Erin); eight cherished grandchildren (Walker, Baylor, Riley, Maclain, Miles, Berkeley, Penelope, and Nathaniel); a beloved granddaughter-in-law (Cassidy); and what she proudly called her “newest prize,” her great-grandson (Cayson). Nothing brought her more pride than watching her family grow.
She had a quiet strength and practical wisdom that anchored those around her. She did not need attention to make an impact. She led through examples through patience, discipline, faithfulness, and love expressed in daily actions.
Her absence leaves a deep void, but her influence lives on in the generations she shaped — both in her classroom and in her home.
A memorial mass will be held in her honor at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on March 7th, 2026 at 10:30am. A small reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to invest in a child’s education or simply take the time to tell someone you love how much they matter — something Kag never failed to do.
