Born in Ft Hood, Texas, she has lived in Tallahassee for 60 years. Until her death she was employed at Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. She graduated from Leon High School in 1981 and from Tallahassee Community College. She also worked in the Leon County and Jackson County school systems for 20 years.
An avid fan of Florida State University and University of Georgia football she enjoyed a great game and cheering them on. Football season at my house will never be the same. In honor of Kelly, we are asking everyone, no matter where you are, to wear FSU or University of Georgia clothing.
She is predeceased by her parents Kellis and Clarice Stanfield. She is survived by her sister Paula Stanfield, cousins Al and Patti Collier and Denise and Charles Bowen and their children. Her best friends Cheryl and Pat McDaniel, Laura Cogdill, Kelly Stivers, Lynn Underwood, her boys, Kyle, Matthew, Joey, Ayden, Parker McDaniel and her work family.
