Amanda was employed by Gulf Life Insurance Company. She loved spending time with her family and sharing her faith with others. She was a member of Gainesville Church of God and the American Business Women Association.
She is survived by her husband, James Ogburn; son, David Ogburn and wife, Becky of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Megan Ogburn and Ryan Ogburn, a sister, Alice Pitts; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas Wallace and Ethel Amanda Carter of Tallahassee, Florida; sister, Annie J. Skipper of Tallahassee, Florida; and brothers, Samuel Kavanaugh Wallace of Tallahassee, Florida, Gilbert Wallace of Tallahassee, Florida, and William T. "Billy" Wallace of Altha, Florida.
Services will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 2:00pm at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee. The family will recieve friends prior to the service at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
