Lana Marie Antone

Lana Marie Antone, 20, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on July 26, 2026. She was born in Ruidoso, New Mexico on November 06, 2005 and was a proud enrolled member of the Mescalero Apache Tribe of New Mexico, a part of her identity she carried with quiet pride.

Lana was kind, loving, and gentle-spirited. She kept a small, close circle of friends who meant everything to her. She was funny without even trying, often saying the most unexpected and off-the-wall things that made the people around her laugh. She was artistic and creative, and had recently got back into working out. She was always evolving. She also loved learning about crystals and the meaning she found in them. She felt a connection to animals and found peace in nature, often sitting quietly in the backyard and taking in the world around her. Music was close to her heart. She enjoyed trying out different instruments and had a soft, beautiful singing voice that she often saved for moments when she thought no one was listening.

Her life was not without challenges, and she faced more than many her age. Through it all, she remained a deeply sensitive and caring soul. She was very much loved by her family as a daughter, sister, niece, aunt, and granddaughter, and that love never wavered. The loss of Lana has left a profound emptiness in the hearts of her family, one that cannot be filled. Her absence will be felt in every moment, in every memory, and in all the years to come.

Lana had begun dreaming about her future. She was looking forward to her 21st birthday and hoped to save enough for a motorcycle. One of her favorite and most cherished roles was recently becoming an “auntie” to Cole. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on in those who knew her, but her time here was far too short, and she will be missed beyond words.

She is survived by her mother, Christi Anderson; sisters, Malaya Antone, Sierra Anderson, Amberlee Fastwolf; her grandparents, Curtis and DeAnna Padgett; her nephew, Cole Fastwolf; her uncles, Brandon Padgett and Donnie Ellis; and her aunts, Janet Padgett and Alia Valdata. Lana was preceded in death by her aunt, Dawn Ellis; uncle, Chris Padgett; and great grandmother, Myrtle Padgett.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 8, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Road. This will be an informal visitation, and guests are welcome to stop by at any time during these hours.
