Lawrence Edward Johnson

Lawrence was a lifelong resident of Leon County, and was an honorable Naval veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. 

He is survived by and was an amazing father to his two sons, Lawrence Edward "Eddie" Johnson Jr. (Jennifer Johnson) and a loving "Ipa" to grandsons Jake George and Lance Johnson; and "Aaron" Johnson (Marci Johnson), and was a loving "Grandpa Lawrence" to Aldan Johnson. He is also survived by his loving siblings, sister Thelma (Wayne Shoulders) and brothers, Aaron Johnson (Louise) and Alton Johnson (Linda).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte June (Beard) Johnson (on April 26, 2006) as well as siblings, Juanita Johns, Robert Johnson, Raymond Johnson and LeVerna Johnson.

A memorial service with honors will be held Friday, August 15, 2025 at the Tallahassee National Cemetery (5055 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL 32311.) 

He was thoughtful, caring and hard working - and will be missed by the many people whose lives he blessed and touched.
