He was born in Tallahassee on February 13, 1927. Lee attended Leon High School and
Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville, Florida. His senior year he transferred to Emmanuel
College for a short time then joined the Coast Guard.
He was married to Frances Louise Harrell on November 14, 1954. They enjoyed a wonderful marriage for 64 years.
Lee worked as a computer operator for Florida State University for 39 years. He was a charter member of Copeland Street Pentecostal Holiness Church and was involved with the Boy Scouts for 25 years, Royal Ranger's and he loved to turkey hunt and be outdoors.
He was survived by his wife, Frances Louise Tryon; daughter, Judy Fejes(Joe); son, Richard Tryon(Lyn); three grandchildren; Thomas Tryon(Jessica); Lindsey Hurlebaus(Matthew); Sally Fejes; and four great grandchildren; Kylee Hurlebaus, Kinley Hurlebaus, Ethan Tryon, Macayla Tryon. Three sisters, Abby Kendall; Marie Blasingame, Frances Severs. He was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Alvie Tryon.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, August 3, 2018 at Culley's Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Rd., Tallahassee followed by a 1:00pm service at the National Cemetery.
