Leon was born August 29, 1936 in Sopchoppy, Florida to the late Leon and Theo McKenzie. He was a loving father and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Patricia Marie McKenzie.
Leon is survived by his sons, William McKenzie and Donald McKenzie; daughter, Linda Mercer; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 3pm at West Sopchoppy Cemetery in Sopchoppy, Florida.
