Leonard, we knew this day would come. We talked about it many times in our lives. We knew we wouldn't live forever, but it seems your never prepared when reality hits.
I was the last person on earth who knew you the longest. As your brother we spent a lifetime sharing good times and hard times. Throughout all of those times, we loved each other. That never waivered, not for a second. I was fortunate to have you when there were times in my life I needed you.  I am proud to have been there the times you needed me in your life. That's what brothers do.
Every phone conversation we had always ended with "I love you" and "I love you, too"
Like I said at your service, I have a hole in my heart, but I will fill it with memories.

God put you in my life, my family's life. A special man who started as my neighbor, became my dearest friend & my Dad's, an adopted second Dad to me, and a Pop-Pop to my sons.  So many wonderful treasured memories. The many "meet me at the fence" talks. The "come on by, need to talk" , or "I just need a hug".  The numerous times he picked up and cared for my son when as a single Mom, I could not do it all on my own. The countless encouraging talks and fatherly advice that I needed whether I liked it or not!  So blessed to have you and share in part of our lives and our families.  Thank God for you! Thank God you are at peace and celebrating with your loved ones in Heaven. I shall miss you, yet I will rejoice in your life, hold you close in my heart and soul, until we meet again ~ All My Love, Capri & family
