

Leota Walker Gregory, 83, of Tallahassee passed away on June 11, 2013.
Leota was born in Foley, Florida, on November 12, 1929. Leota was a life-long member of Chaires United Methodist Church, past president of the Tallahassee Police Wives Auxiliary, volunteer for the crippled children's clinic, and the United Methodist Women's Auxiliary. Leota enjoyed many years of league bowling with her friends. Her son, Phil remembers her best for her love of family and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe H. Gregory Sr.; her sons, Joe Jr. (Buddy) and Rocky; and grandson, Richard (Bo) Wilson.
She is survived by her children, Phil, Robin Wilson (Richard), Laura McKane (Patrick) and Sharon Hackney (Lee); grandchildren, Tobie, Randy, Lane Foreman, Suzanne Wilson, Danielle Davis, Katherine Williams, Charles Williams, Heather Hackney, Molly McKane; great grandchildren, Chelsea, Sarah, Walker, Madison Davis and Harper Foreman; and one great great grandchild, Jaxson Williams; brothers, brothers Wayne Walker and John Walker; sister, Chanie Dotson.
A Celebration of Leota's Life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 14th at Chaires United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice.
