November 16, 2023. She was born Lois Mae Bredehoeft on March 30, 1930 on the family farm near
O'Neill, Nebraska. After graduating from O'Neill High School, she set out for the west coast, living in
both Oregon and California. She then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, and while stationed in
Montgomery, Alabama, met Lloyd Hudgions. The two married in 1957, and remained so until Lloyd's
death in 2011. Lois was an avid golfer, and a fan of many other sports as well, including horse racing,
baseball, football and basketball. She enjoyed good times with family and friends. She was an honest,
decent and sincere person, and anyone who had the privilege of getting to know her was better off
having done so. She is survived by her son Jack. She did not make any donation request; those wishing
to honor her memory are encouraged to give to the cause of their choice.
