She attended Hunter College in New York City and worked as a banker for 25 years in New York and Florida. Louise settled in Tallahassee in 1994 and joined a "Writing for Fun" group and the FSU Faculty and Friends Book Club. She volunteered at the Northeast branch of the Public Library for 11 years. She especially liked being a member of "Curves for Women" in Killearn. In 2009, she joined a group of friends and formed the Keystone Book Club. She was very fond of all the people in these groups.
Survivors include her three beloved children, Nancy Sanguiliano, and her husband, Fred, of Tallahassee, Maura Harty, and husband, Jim Larner, of Maryland and her son, Mark Harty, of New York City. Included also are her two granddaughters, Jenni Sanguiliano-Lonski (Josh) and Nikki McGrath (Patrick), and great grandson, James Lanski.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Her family has always been paramount in her life, and to be surrounded and remembered by them alone would be greatly appreciated. They have made her life a special and blessed one.
