A truly wonderful woman in every way. I know you will all miss her smiling face and endearing charm. A finer woman would be nearly impossible to find. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Cherish the memories.

Our lives were enriched by knowing Marian, a true Southern lady. We cherish our few hours with her on Little Terrapin Mountain.

We give thanks for the loyalty and dedication of Marian Lawton Langford to our organization, The National Society of Colonial Dames in the State of Florida. For over 50 years, she supported our causes, and we are so grateful for her membership, and saddened by the loss of one of Tallahassee's "Golden Girls". Our heartfelt condolences to her wonderful family who have a marvelous legacy left by Marian...she will be greatly missed.

To the extended Langford family - Marian was a great hostess - generous with her time and attention; a great mother and grandmother - expecting the best but preparing each person to achieve it and a great lady - always keeping visitors mindful of how their behavior reflects on their own family as well as their hosts. I toast her with the mis-named mint julep cup provided as a thank you after my family's early 1990's visit.

Lawton, Beth and family - we are so very sorry for your loss. Your mother was quite a lady and spread joy whereever she went. She and your father (and you all) have done so much for Tallahassee. She will be missed by many. Gayle Webb
