It seems like yesterday when I came to work for Bob & Marie. They always treated me & my family like family. Marie was a godly and compassionate person. One act of kindness that has remained with me is her making Amish friendship bread and giving it to everyone at Christmas. She would even leave some on top of the garbage can on pick-up day for the workers. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all that she came into contact with in this life. My family and I will truly miss her and the kindness she has shown us over the years. We are keeping you all in our thoughts & prayers!

Kathy and I were so sorry to hear of Marie’s passing. Both Marie and Bob were so gracious and friendly to us during our time at Thomasville Road Baptist Church before the Lord called us to City Church. Like everyone they met, you were treated like family by Bob and Marie. Marie was a special gift to the Body of Christ. I can think of no gentler, kinder or caring person. She took a genuine interest in you. When a Christian woman like Marie is called home it leaves such a void in your heart. It is an emptiness that can only be comforted by the many loving memories you have, the lives you know were changed by her presence and the hope we possess in Christ that we will all be together one day. Our love and prayers go out to Bob and the family during this time of separation. May they sense the Lord’s comfort, presence and peace as never before.

Marie was an amazing person with a light she shared with the world. She was very special to our family from the moment we met her over 30 years ago. I will always appreciate the support she gave me when I needed it so much. Marie will be greatly missed. From my family to yours, we send our prayers of comfort and peace, knowing she is now rejoicing with our Lord.
