FL on January 2, 2018. She grew up in many different areas of the United States and attended many schools. After graduating high school in Madison, Wisconsin, Marie went on to attend Bradley University where she met Tom Nordling and they married in 1956. They had daughters, Deborah Lynn and Cynthia Marie. In 1984 Marie moved to Tallahassee.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Roy Strickland and her two daughters, Debbie (Pat) Marry of Hawthorn Woods, IL, Cindy (Dave) Ganansky of Park City, UT, four nieces, one nephew and eight grandchildren. Also surviving Marie are her four stepchildren: Sherry (Tony) Carvalho, Mark (Sharon) Strickland, Mike (Debbie) Strickland, and Matt (Renee’) Strickland. Marie loved them all.
