

Marion Jean McRobbie Chamberlin , 88, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away peacefully on the morning of June 2, 2013. Marion was born on July 4, 1924 In Ludlow, Massachusetts to parents John Carnegie Wilson McRobbie and Annie Gray Duffus. She graduated from high school and obtained a clerical job at Monsanto Company. It was there that she met her husband of 49 years, John Maurer Chamberlin, whose 40 year career with Monsanto took the family to Springfield, Massachusetts, Texas City, Texas, St. Louis, Missouri and finally Pensacola, Florida. John preceded her in death on September 14, 1994. In 2010 she moved to Tallahassee to be near her daughter.
While residing in Pensacola, Marion auditioned and was chosen for the cast of the movie “Jaws 2”. In addition, she was an active volunteer in the Medical Records Department of Baptist Hospital, receiving her 20 year pin. She and John traveled extensively around the world. She particularly loved her trips to Las Vegas. She was an avid lover of animals and loved many dachshunds throughout her lifetime. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie C. Bailey (Clifton) of Tallahassee, Fl, her son, John Ross Chamberlin of Pensacola, Fl, and her grandchildren, Katie Jean Chamberlin, Kimberly Craig Chamberlin and John Craig Chamberlin. A private memorial service will be held.
