Ms. Margie knew my Dad growing up. He was born in Bell, Florida about the same time as Margie. Alway a gracious and beautiful Christian Lady. Sandi and I visited her on Rhoden Cove and had a wonderful visit. The next week she insisted I should stop by to pick up something. I came and she had baked a lovely pound cake for us. So very gracious. Prayers for Comfort and Peace for all Family in this time of Loss and Mourning.

I have known Miss. Waits over 20 something years. I was Miss. Waits housekeeper, and throughout the years we became very close friends. She was more like a mother to me than anyone would ever know. I remember countless of hours that we talked through the years about her life and her family in Bell Florida. She was always there to listen and give me advice and I truly will miss her and the words she spoke. But one thing I do know she was not scared to leave this world she was ready to go see her family with God. I love you Miss Waits I will miss you dearly.

Patti and family I remember when your mom and dad use to come out to Bradfordville to our store and spend the afternoon usually Saturday just visiting with my mom and dad. I have sweet memories of them. What a blessing that your mom was 99. My mom is 91 and is recovering from Covid Pneumonia, it has been a long month for us girls and her but she is suppose to be going home from TMH Rehab Friday. I just want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during these rough days, may God give you comfort and peace. Sincerely, Peggy Rehberg Johns

Aunt Margie was a very favorite Aunt. We always loved seeing her come for visits. She was always such fun and when the cousins came it was even better. She cherished our family reunions down at Hart Springs getting to see all family and friends every year. She was the last of our momma's family and was momma's baby sister, whom she loved dearly.

Patti I am sorry to hear of your Mom's homegoing. I remember her and your Dad shopping at our store and how my Mom enjoyed seeing them often there. We lost our Mom in December at age 96 too so we are certainly acquainted with your heavy heart.
Blessings and prayers to you and the family,
Marcus Winchester

Patti, so sorry to hear this news. Your Mom & Dad were so like mine. Brings back such fun memories about growing up in the small Tallahassee. When your parents built on Rhoden Cove, that was really “the boonies”. I still miss Mama & Daddy. After the tears, the memories come back and you inwardly smile at those. You absolutely were a devoted daughter. God Bless
