Marshall Lance Cowart

Marshall Lance Cowart, age 66, of Tallahassee, Florida passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 after several months’ illness. He was born August 5, 1955 in College Park, GA to Louie and Catherine Cowart. Marshall will be remembered as a calm and reliable man who loved and supported his family in word and action. He had a career as an IT project manager and business analyst, which eventually took him away from metro Atlanta to Elgin, IL; Findley, OH; and Tallahassee, FL. Throughout his life, he was active in church, participating as deacon, Sunday School teacher, and production team member. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by Patricia, his wife of almost 45 years; his daughters Danae (Andy) McBurney and Marissa Cowart (Eddie Rattanasouk); and his siblings Wayne (Linda) Cowart, Dale Terwilliger, and Julie (Paul) Toms. A visitation for Marshall will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32312.
