Mary Therese Davis

Mary was born in Orlando, Florida on May 23, 1967. After graduating from Florida High School she continued her education and received a Master’s in Guidance Counseling from FAMU. Mary worked as an Elementary School Teacher and loved every minute of it.

She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church and enjoyed the beach, shopping, music festivals, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mary had a heart of gold. She always put others before herself and would light up a room when she walked in. Her laugh was infectious and she truly was the “sunshine” in many of her loved ones lives.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother Linda Toole Simmons.

She is survived by her son Clint Davis, daughter Brandee Davis Forestal (Eric), grandchildren Brea, E.J. and Ariyah, father Kenneth Simmons, sister Sandra Simmons Tillia (John), niece Morgan Tillia Smith, and her dog L.T., who will miss her dearly.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on 18th, August, at Culley’s Meadowwood Funeral Home at 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, Florida, 32308.

The family will receive friends an hour after the service.
