Dear Uncle Joe, Brian, Thom, Jane, Matt, Ann, Julia, Max, Jack, Molly, and Drew,
My heart aches from the loss of my sweet Aunt Mary, your beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was truly an angel on Earth. Mary's unwavering faith was so admirable, she was one of the most faithful beings I knew. Mary absolutely lived her life for her children and grandchildren, when she spoke of any of them she would beam with incredible pride. My fondest memories of Mary will forever remain in my heart. When I was in school in Tallahassee, Mary always welcomed me and my husband for dinner or to just come over and chat. I always looked forward to having Aunt Mary come to Stuart for a visit. There was nothing more comforting than knowing, Mary was always just a phone call away, particularly for medical advice. She was the kindest, sweetest, nonjudgemental, faithful, and loving aunt and I will surely miss her dearly! I know Aunt Mary was welcomed with open arms by her beloved family, her mother Granny Julia, my sweet mom Judy, dear Aunt Annette, and Uncle John. They are all celebrating and watching over us!
Love you forever! Eileen Burch Pittman

My deepest sympathy to Uncle Joe, my cousins Thom, Brian, Jane, and Matt (Ann) and your beautiful grandchildren Julia Max Jack Molly and Drew. As I think of my dear Aunt Mary so many memories flood through my mind. The first and most impressive memory is her incredible faith. Even at this moment her presence is felt in my home from special handmade gifts given to me throughout the years, I will forever cherish every one of them. May you all continue to feel your mothers presence and feel peace. Thank you Aunt Mary for all your advice and prayers for me and my entire family. You will be missed beyond words. Mary had the most open and generous of hearts. Always quick witted and the first to reach out when someone was in need. She was like the little angel in “It’s a Wonderful Life.” She easily put things into perspective for you and handled every crisis with a dose of good hearted laughter at just the right moment. She created many memories with my parents and recreated some of them with the blankets she made with love at the time of someone’s passing. Her cheerfulness, dedication to friends, warm smile, and non- judgmental listening ear will be greatly missed. A true soldier for kindness and compassion and all things good... I know you were welcomed with a band full of angels and you will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed. We hold all of the Hennessy family in our hearts and prayers at this very difficult time. Mary made a world of difference in the lives of the Hagerman family. We are so very grateful for her life.

We are all saddened by this rather sudden news. Thank you for all you have done for so many of us. Below is a photo of the time when Mary supported our ASD son in his religious education.
