Mary Berry Kinnebrew, 92 a resident of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in Tallahassee.
A member of Covenant Presbyterian Church of Tallahassee; Mary enjoyed doing all types of needle works and crafts, as well as painting beautiful pictures. Her greatest joy was the love and fellowship of family and friends. Mary was passionate about taking care of her loved ones, either by her little unexpected gifts and favors from the heart, or her compassion during times of need and her infectious laughter during times of joy.
Mary was preceded in death by her “PaPa”, Meredith W. Berry, her father, James Elmore Berry, her mother, Mary Lee Smith Berry, her step-mother, Ostein Griffin Berry, her brother, James E. Berry, Jr., her husband, Thomas N. Kinnebrew Jr., her son, Thomas N. “Chip” Kinnebrew III, and her step-granddaughter, Bobbi Brooks Scott.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Kathi Kinnebrew Acker (Todd) and Marilee Kinnebrew Smith (Bob) and daughter-in-law, Ann Parker Kinnebrew. Also, 5 grandchildren, Scott Allen Kinnebrew (Erica), Abby Kinnebrew Smith (Evan), Gwendolyn Kinnebrew Gay, (Jamie), Alison Kinnebrew Collins (Alec), and Kelsey Kinnebrew, step-grandson, Donald K. Smith, along with 10 great-grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren. Additional survivors include her sister, Elizabeth Way, and her brother, Meredith Berry.
The family will receive friends during a visitation at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, followed by a service at 11:00 AM. Both the visitation and service will take place at Capital Heights Baptist Church, 7150 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL. Interment will follow at approximately 12:45 PM at Culley’s MeadowWood Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, FL.
