She was the beloved wife for 48 years to the late R. Clifford Thweart.
Maxine is survived by her daughters, Ginney (Tom) Futch, of Tallahassee, Marlene (Mike) Stern of Buffalo, NY, Cher Tierney of CA; her son, Cliff (Monica) Thweatt of Plantation, FL; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Virginia Cairns; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at her daughter's home in Tallahassee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Maxine's memory to Westminister Oaks, 4449 Meandering Way, Tallahassee, FL 32308.
