Mildred M “Millie” Ehrlich, 99, of Tallahassee died Tuesday at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. A native of New York, New York, she came to Tallahassee 30 years ago from St. Petersburg. Millie was of the Jewish faith and everyone who knew her knew that she was a very engaging person who treated everyone like they were special. She lived well and enjoyed life and was grateful for everything and everyone. She was an active bridge player and enjoyed crossword puzzles as well as reading. She enjoyed Jeopardy and would play along with the contestants, often scoring higher and getting the final answer when no one else did. She was always active and stayed active and up to date on current events and politics right up to the day of her death.
One of five (5) children she was the last of her family. Survivors include three daughters: Elaine (Wicke Walsh) Ehrlich-Walsh of Cape Cod, MA, Linda (Jerry Silverstein) Ehrlich of Manhattan, Debra (David) Lachter of Tallahassee; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
