Miriam T. Paulk, 98, of Tallahassee died peacefully in her home on Wednesday, November 9. A native of Furman, SC, Mrs. Paulk graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Winthrop College, Rock Hill, SC. She was an elementary school teacher for thirty years in school systems in South Carolina, Malone, Madison, and Blountstown, Florida. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Paulk was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey T. Paulk. Survivors include son Tim (Cynthia) of Tallahassee, daughter Barbara (Hentz) McClellan of Blountstown, five granddaughters, and 5 great-grandchildren . A family service is planned. Culley's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
